When it comes to guilty pleasures, there isn’t much that surpasses a well baked chocolate chip cookie. Crisp edges, a chewy middle and chocolate chips scattered like little drops of heaven within, this recipe is exactly what you need. Let’s get started.
– ½ cup sugar
– ½ brown sugar (packed)
– 1 tea spoon salt
– ½ cup butter (melted)
– 1 egg
– 1 tea spoon vanilla extract
– ¼ cups all-purpose flour
– ½ tea spoon baking soda
– 4-ounce milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks
– 4-ounce dark chocolate chunks
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degree centigrade)
Now take a bowl and add sugar, brown sugar, salt and butter. Mix it well until there are no lumps left.
Beat in the eggs then stir it with vanilla extract and mix it with the previous mixture.
After sifting, add flour and baking soda in it to make it a light brown smooth mixture.
Fold it in chunks of dark chocolate. Chill it in the freezer for 30 minutes at least. The longer the dough rests more complex it will be.
Scoop the dough with ice cream scoop into baking pan with a baking sheet over it and leave some space between cookies so that they can spread evenly.
Now bake for 12-15 minutes until they become brown. Cool completely and enjoy.
