When it comes to guilty pleasures, there isn’t much that surpasses a well-baked chocolate chip cookie. Crisp edges, a chewy middle, and chocolate chips scattered like little drops of heaven within, this recipe is exactly what you need. Let’s get started.

Chocolate Chip

Ingredients

– ½ cup sugar

– ½ brown sugar (packed)

– 1 teaspoon salt

– ½ cup butter (melted)

Process

Chocolate Chip Cookies Process

STEP 1:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180-degree centigrade)

STEP 2:

Now take a bowl and add sugar, brown sugar, salt and butter. Mix it well until there are no lumps left.

STEP 3:

Beat in the eggs then stir it with vanilla extract and mix it with the previous mixture.

STEP 4:

After sifting, add flour and baking soda in it to make it a light brown smooth mixture.

STEP 5:

Fold it in chunks of dark chocolate. Chill it in the freezer for 30 minutes at least. The longer the dough rests more complex it will be.

STEP 6:

Scoop the dough with ice cream scoop into a baking pan with a baking sheet over it and leave some space between cookies so that they can spread evenly.

STEP 7:

Now bake for 12-15 minutes until they become brown. Cool completely and enjoy it.
