Spicy Cauliflower Hot Wings
Ingredients
cauliflower, broken into florets | 3 cup | |
vegetable oil | 1 tbsp | |
gochujang hot pepper paste | 1/2 cup | |
sesame oil | 2 tbsp | |
honey | 2 tbsp | |
soy sauce | 1 tbsp | |
water | 2 tbsp | |
lime juice | 1 tbsp | |
sesame seed | 1 tbsp | |
salt | to taste |
Spicy Cauliflower Hot Wings Directions
- Preheat an oven to 400F. Into an oven dish add the cauliflower florets, vegetable oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt, mix well.
- Once preheated, place the cauliflower dish into the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
- While the cauliflower begins to cook, prepare the spicy hot sauce. Into a small saucepan add the gochujang hot pepper paste, sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, water, and lime juice.
- Place the saucepan on low heat on the stove and bring to a simmer. Stir the ingredients to combine then remove the saucepan from the heat.
- After 15 minutes of cooking remove the cauliflower from the oven and pour over the spicy hot sauce, then top with sesame seeds.
- Return the cauliflower dish to the oven for 10 minutes more.
- Serve the spicy cauliflower hot wings as a side dish or vegetarian alternatives.
